We're not here to lecture anyone about the planet. We're here because throwing away good food is a waste of money for the shop, and a missed dinner for someone who'd gladly have paid for it. Obal connects the two.

    Pay in the app and get a pickup code. The bag is held for you — no queueing, no sorry-just-sold-out.

    Come by during the pickup window, show your code, take your bag. Rate it afterwards so others know what to expect.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

Can I choose what's in my bag?
No — that's what makes it cheap. The shop packs what's genuinely left that day. You do know the shop, the food type and any diet tags before you pay, and the contents are always worth more than the price.
Is the food still good?
Yes. It's the same food that was on sale that day — bread baked this morning, salads made this morning. It's discounted because the shop is closing, not because anything is wrong with it. Shops list bags under the same food-safety rules they always follow.
Do you deliver?
No, and we don't plan to. Obal is pickup only: you collect the bag from the shop during its collection window. That's what keeps the price this low.
How do I pay?
In the app, when you reserve. You get a pickup code to show at the counter — no cash, no fumbling at the till.
What if I can't come and collect?
Cancel in the app while the pickup window hasn't started and the bag goes back up for someone else. If you simply don't show up, the bag is lost — so cancel early rather than late.
When is the app out?
We're finishing up with our first partner shops in Astana. The App Store and Google Play buttons on this page go live the day it ships.
